Job Description
PART-TIME (Alternating weekends 8a-6pm)

Purpose of Position
The primary purpose of this position is to perform ultrasound procedures in accordance to physician's protocols and instructions.
Scope of Responsibility
Other duties include instructing patients regarding procedures to ensure cooperation and optimum test results and following prescribed safety standards in operating equipment.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program or an accredited radiologic Technology program that included cross training in ultrasound required
- Must have RDMS certification in one or more of the following areas; Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast or Sonography (ARRT (S)).
- Must have additional vascular registry in one or more of the following areas; ARRT (VS), CCI (RVS); and ARDMS (RVT).
- Must obtain and maintain current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider
- Must have minimum two years of experience as a sonographer, and proficiency at all general studies
- Ability to effectively communicate
