We’re looking to find our founding Lead, Market Operations role for our contracts and partnerships in Florida.
The Lead, Market Operations is responsible for the strategic and operational success of healthcare partnerships within their assigned markets. This role provides leadership and oversight of market operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, strong provider relationships, and financial and operational performance.
The Lead collaborates with internal teams and external partners to develop and execute strategies that optimize workflows, improve provider engagement, and drive market expansion. This role requires a data-driven approach, strong leadership, and the ability to manage complex healthcare partnerships.
Salary - 95,000-120,000 based on experience
Responsibilities
Own market operations and performance, ensuring financial, operational, and clinical goals are met.
Provide strategic leadership for market operations, overseeing a team responsible for day-to-day execution and provider support.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with provider groups and healthcare partners, serving as the primary point of contact for market operations.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing trends and driving strategy adjustments to improve market efficiency and patient outcomes.
Lead revenue cycle management (RCM) processes, ensuring accurate billing, reimbursement optimization, and financial sustainability.
Oversee caseload management, ensuring appropriate staffing, patient distribution, and operational alignment with clinical teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, engineering and growth, to align market strategy with organizational goals.
Drive contract performance, ensuring compliance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement in provider engagement and patient care delivery.
Identify and implement process improvements, leveraging data insights to enhance operational workflows and optimize resource allocation.
Support market expansion and growth initiatives, identifying new opportunities for partnerships and operational scalability.
Represent the organization at external meetings, working sessions, and industry events, ensuring strong visibility and market presence.
Minimum Qualifications
8 years of experience in healthcare operations, provider management, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
Proven leadership experience, managing teams and overseeing multi-site or multi-market operations.
Strong financial acumen, including experience with P&L management, budgeting, and RCM processes.
Data-driven decision-making skills with the ability to analyze complex information and implement strategic solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% for market oversight, partner engagement, and organizational meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or MSN).
Experience working in hospice, palliative care, or end-of-life services.
Deep understanding of provider contracting, risk-based arrangements, and value-based care models.
Experience working with healthcare payers, provider groups, and multi-specialty organizations.
Track record of implementing operational efficiencies and process improvements in healthcare settings.
