ACH Processor

At the guidance of the direct supervisor, you will be responsible for serving as a liaison between the Data Processing Group and the Locations and Other Departments. You will have all the tools and training needed to process ACH transactions, maintain knowledge of related products, and create a professional outcome to help the Guaranty Bank & Trust team shine. You’ll be able to help contribute to this by:

Job Duties:

• Performs all functions related to ACH transactions, included but not limited to; receiving and uploading files, processing notification of changes and returns.
• Assist employees and customer with ACH questions, research and with proper forms for return of unauthorized or stopped ACH transactions.
• Direct Deposit Returns and Adjustments: Processes and investigates Regulation E claims related to ACH transactions.
• Processes all returns related to government benefits; Reclamations, DNE entries.
• Prepare required documents for annual internal and external audits
• Other duties include mailing customer correspondence related to DDA overdrawn accounts, subsequent writeoff and reporting.
• Annual escheatment of dormant accounts and properties
• Other duties and responsibilities and/or projects as may be assigned by supervisor.
• Comply with compliance and privacy policies and procedures to maintain confidentiality and information protection.
• Comply with all federal, state and local regulatory rules and regulations governing financial institutions, as well as all company policies and procedures.
• Complete and pass all required regulatory compliance training as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of back operations in a financial institution required
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Good analytical skills with ability to problem solve with excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment.
• Proficient knowledge in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education, Experience & Licenses:

• High school diploma.
• College degree preferred
• Previous ACH processing experience preferred
• AAP or SWACHA Certification a plus

Experience

• Less than 1 year(s): Previous ACH processing experience preferred

• High School or better
