Position Summary:
Supports the marketing team in developing high-quality, engaging content across multiple platforms to support brand awareness, customer engagement, and financial literacy initiatives. Attends events across our footprint, capturing photos, and videos to transform them to be utilized across all social media channels. This role will also assist in writing and distributing press releases through all channels: intranet, website, and local publications.

Essential Task Statement(s)
- Write, edit, and publish compelling content, including press releases, blog posts, website copy, and internal communications.
- Co-develop financial literacy content with the community development team for social media, brochures, and educational materials.
- Manage and create content for all social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
- Monitor social media analytics, trends, and engagement, adjusting strategies to maximize reach and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create marketing materials that support campaigns, product launches, and corporate messaging.
- Assist in developing email marketing campaigns, newsletters, and other digital marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and update website content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with branding guidelines.
- Support video scriptwriting and coordination for marketing and educational videos.
- Work closely with the Creative Manager and the marketing team to brainstorm new content strategies and initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in content marketing and financial education.
- Ensure bank is in compliance with federal banking regulations including, but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Community Reinvestment Act, American with Disabilities Act, Right to Financial Privacy Act, Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, the Federal Reserve’s “lettered” regulations, and Content Marketing Specialist roles and responsibilities relating to each act.

Position Qualifications
Education: Required – High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred – bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
Experience: Required – 0-2 Years of experience in content creation, social media management, or digital marketing.
