Job Overview:
Guaranty Bank is seeking a Vice President of the Huntington Market to lead the opening of our new branch in Wayne, West Virginia, and oversee operations in the Huntington/Ashland metro area. This individual will be responsible for managing branch operations, driving business development initiatives, and ensuring top-notch customer service while fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Branch Leadership: Lead the opening of the new branch in Wayne, West Virginia, and assume all duties typically handled by a branch manager, including overseeing daily operations, managing branch staff, ensuring compliance with bank policies, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Business Development: Develop and implement strategies to grow the bank’s presence in the Huntington/Ashland metro area, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with local businesses, and driving customer acquisition efforts.
- Financial Management: Ensure the branch meets or exceeds its financial goals, including managing budgets, monitoring profitability, and maintaining operational efficiency.
- Team Development: Lead, coach, and mentor the branch staff to ensure their success and professional development, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Community Involvement: Represent Guaranty Bank in the community, participating in networking events, civic organizations, and other local initiatives that align with the bank’s values.
Qualifications:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in banking and management, with a proven track record of successful leadership in a financial institution.
- Lending Experience: Preferred experience in lending and loan portfolio management.
- Leadership: Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Business Development: Experience in driving growth through business development strategies.
- Customer-Centric: A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and building lasting relationships.
- Education: A degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
