Tax Accountant

Guardian Accounting Group / Alternative Tax Services is seeking a goal-oriented, driven individual to join our team. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Analyze financial information and prepare tax returns for individuals, businesses, and non-profit organizations
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Assist clients with tax compliance and reporting requirements
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date advice
- Prepare financial statements and reports for clients
- Review client records and documents to identify potential tax deductions or credits
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop effective tax strategies
- Stay current on changes in tax laws and regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or EA certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial statement preparation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
