General Purpose & Essential Duties:
The Fire Design Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with the fire design team to prepare and finalize fire system submittals in addition to the administrative tracking and coordinating information within our core systems. This position will also be responsible for interacting with the city’s building departments in the transmitting and retrieval of submittal packages.

The Fire Design Coordinator will be responsible for working closely with the fire design team to prepare and finalize fire system submittals in addition to the administrative tracking and coordinating information within our core systems. This position will also be responsible for interacting with the city’s building departments in the transmitting and retrieval of submittal packages.
- Navigate CRM and/or MAS in order to locate customer accounts and related information
- Proficient understanding of Guardian’s alarm fire design process
- Consult and collaborate with Fire design, inspectors and scheduling coordinators to ensure successful flow of work.
- Pick up/drop off submittals, including electronic submitting, payments and permits to the proper City offices.
- Manage work order related progress and updates pertaining to the administrative activity of permits.
- Deliver on customer expectation and satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-upgrade
- Perform both inbound and outbound calls when necessary to Guardian employees and to City offices.
- Act as a junior fire inspector as assigned

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Some college preferred
- Knowledge of security and life safety industry
- 2 years of customer service
