Responsibilities: Communicating effectively and efficiently with the Office Manager, Agency Director and Board of Directors about any problems or situations that need to be corrected in a timely manner. Ensures that all newly hired employees are completely trained with a full understanding of the agencies policies & procedures including do’s & don’t, rules and regulations, proper documentation practices. Will be responsible for running required registries database (ex. Criminal Background, OIG, New Hire, etc). Will communicate with Human Resources on behalf of personnel files when and if necessary of any issues that may occur with potential employees. Will schedule and conduct all staff in-service trainings. Will assist with the following- answering the phones, direct calls and take messages when necessary - opening and close up office during weekdays if needed - assist with filing in the books and overflow boxes if needed. QA requirements: Performing at least a 10% survey of consumer’s home books per week checking for missing or inadequate documentation and completeness of the records. Performing at least 10% survey of employee personnel charts. Assist with writing Corrective Action Plans (CAP’s) when deficiencies are found by state or federal surveyors. Performing monthly written consumer and employee surveys to check whether the consumer is satisfied or not with their home workers, supervisors, the provider agency, and the they are receiving. Communicating effectively and with the Office Manager, Director, and the Board of Directors about any problems or situations that need to be corrected in a timely manner. Other requirements- Will backup supervisors in going to CPOC meetings if the supervisor cannot make it to a meeting. Will make sure documentation training of the workers is done before they go into a home. Updating all staff on policy and procedure changes. Will assist with QA/QI committee meeting every calendar quarter. The QA/QI committee will consist of at a minimum: QA/QI Supervisor, Agency Director, Office Manager, Billing Clerk, and someone from the Board of Directors. This meeting will be documented and the documentation will be filed in the QA/QI office book.
