Guardian Booth is a rapidly growing, industry-leading manufacturer of prefabricated structures and modular homes headquartered in Waynesboro, PA. We deliver nationwide, and export to Mexico and Canada. This position will be for the first shift, Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Pay rate within the range is based on experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a Quality Inspector that will be responsible for ensuring that all materials, products, processes, and procedures meet state modular codes, regulatory requirements and quality standards for our prefabricated commercial structures and residential modular homes. This role is also responsible for identifying issues and discrepancies during the production process and working promptly to report them using a digital platform.

The position will be based out of our Waynesboro, PA facility, and reports directly to the Quality Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform daily in process and final inspections of products to approved plans and prints.
- Identify product non-conformances and generate non-conformance reports.
- Complete all required quality reports and documentation per unit.
- Assist in developing company policies, processes, procedures and workmanship standards related to quality.
- Collaborate with production management to coordinate daily inspection needs.
- Ensure compliance with current state codes, regulatory requirements, quality standards and specifications.
- Support third-party inspection visits (e.g., PFS-TECO, NTA, Intertek).
- Monitor and report on all quality activities, processes, and procedures.
- Perform required calibration of devices.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 2-5 years experience working with quality systems in the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Working knowledge of construction and manufacturing including prefabricated materials.
- Use of basic measuring tools.
- Ability to read blueprints. Familiarity with industrial steel-frame structures is a plus.
- General PC and tablet (Android) skills and willingness to learn software required in fulfillment of duties. Experience with Google Workspace a plus.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Ability to be flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
