Our company offers Orthopedic and Interventional Pain Management treatment to patients. Our Board-certified Physicians consult and treat patients that include steroid injections, joint injections, and surgical procedures.
We are looking to hire a medical receptionist with great communication and administrative skills. The Medical Receptionist is responsible for performing a variety of clinical, clerical, and administrative functions. Responsibilities include coordinate and scheduling patient appointments, answering phone calls, preparing patient charts, liaise between medical departments, maintain the front desk operations and perform all duties within HIPAA regulations.
Required:
- At least two years of clerical/administrative medical/healthcare office experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Medical Scheduling
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations
- Excellent documentation and communication
Preferred:
- Experience in clerical/administrative medical office experience, specifically within the practices of Interventional Pain Management or Orthopedic Specialist
- Computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office and Google Docs)
- Experience with electronic health records software
