Job Description:

We are seeking a Janitorial Attendant to join our team at a local fitness club in Madison, IN. This is a part-time, flexible shift job that involves maintaining the overall cleanliness of locker rooms and restrooms. The ideal candidate will have experience in janitorial work and be able to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas
• Complete cleaning and sanitizing of restrooms
• Gathering and disposing of trash
• Cleaning windows as needed
• Disinfecting areas as directed by supervisor
• Potential cleaning of areas containing bodily fluids
• Performing daily activities such as bending, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 pounds
• Notifying supervisor of deficiencies or repairs required
• Stocking and maintaining cleaning supplies
• Utilizing supplies efficiently to avoid waste
• Documenting cleaning activities with daily checklists
• Effectively communicating with customers in a professional manner
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies
• Maintaining a professional and clean appearance

Requirements:

• Prior experience in janitorial work preferred
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
