Janitorial Supervisor

Job Description:

The Janitorial Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of a commercial facility. They will supervise a team of janitorial staff and ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard. The Janitorial Supervisor will also be responsible for managing inventory and ordering cleaning supplies as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of janitorial staff
• Ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
• Manage inventory and order cleaning supplies as needed
• Train new janitorial staff
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules
• Perform regular inspections to ensure that cleaning standards are being met
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
• Ensure that all safety protocols are being followed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in janitorial or custodial work
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a team
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
