The Strategy and Operations Analyst will play a key role in supporting all growth initiatives, including partnership development, ad hoc analysis for the CEO, and measuring the results of key corporate initiatives. This is a junior Chief of Staff position, offering direct exposure to executive leadership and high-impact projects. The role also supports mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and various strategic projects, such as building compelling presentations and running financial models to help the CEO and COO influence and present to doctors and support staff. Working closely with senior management, this role offers significant opportunities for growth and upward mobility within a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
Role Overview:
- Reports directly to the CEO, supporting strategy, growth, and decision-making.
- Be responsible for the pathway to partnership program with associates (modeling, presenting, negotiating, and closing partnerships)
- Underwrite new partnerships from origination through closing
- Analyze financial and operational trends for acquisition opportunities
- Conduct due diligence, gather data, and analyze findings (e.g., data room analysis)
- Build valuation models and work with third-party advisors on Quality of Earnings reports
- Lead the due diligence process and make recommendations to the investment committee
- Support financing activities, including lending relationships and equity capital market initiatives
- Oversee integration and closing diligence activities
- Assist Finance and Operations teams with KPI analytics, financial forecasting, and cost/benefit evaluations
- Evaluate strategic growth initiatives, including FP&A analysis and project integrations
- Support lender relationships and assist in preparing financial reports
- Identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings
- Assist Doctor Partners and Operations leaders in making capital expenditure decisions (e.g., iTero, 3D printers) using metrics like NPV and IRR
- Build financial models to optimize expense ratios (lab, supply, etc.) based on regional fee schedules
- Provide recommendations to enhance cash flow, EBITDA, and gross margins

Requirements:
- In-office position; candidates must reside in the Miami, FL area
- A minimum of 1 year of Finance, Analytics, M&A execution or investment experience encouraged
- Finance background with experience at a reputable investment banking or private equity firm preferred
- Direct experience in corporate development within a healthcare services organization is a huge plus
- Proficient in technical skills such as three-statement modeling, DCF, and IC memos using Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and strong math skills
