About the Opportunity
Guardian Fire Protection, LLC. is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist who will be responsible for ensuring accurate recording and reporting of employee work hours, managing timekeeping systems, and supporting payroll processing across multiple businesses and geographic locations.
Job Duties
- Accurately record and track employee work hours, overtime, and paid time off (PTO) using timekeeping software.
- Ensure time entries are accurate and consistent with company policies and labor laws.
- Verify and correct discrepancies in employee timecards, working closely with supervisors and managers to resolve any issues.
- Collaborate with Human Resources to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.
- Maintain employee records and provide reports to HR or management as required.
- Assist in audits of timekeeping records and address discrepancies or errors.
- Provide support for payroll-related inquiries and assist employees with time-related questions.
- Ensure compliance with applicable state, local, and federal regulations regarding timekeeping and overtime.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
