What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aerial Transport Pilot position at Guardian Flight?
At Guardian Flight, we are committed to providing safe and reliable medical air transportation services. As a King Air C90 Pilot, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being of our patients. We are seeking an experienced pilot with a Commercial Airplane Multi-Engine Land (C-AMEL) certification and a willingness to obtain an ATP within 5 years of employment. Our ideal candidate will have at least 2,500 total flight hours, including 2,000 Fixed Wing hours and 1,000 PIC hours. The successful candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and maintain accurate documentation and record keeping for shifts and load manifests.
Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with medical experts to transport patients safely and efficiently.
- Ensure aircraft readiness for flight dispatches and maintain cleanliness duties.
- Maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
Working Conditions:
We require our pilots to work in various weather conditions and may need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar. Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, as well as lifting up to 70 lbs.
