FLIGHT PARAMEDIC INCENTIVES
Annual Salary Range : $79,000 - $81,000
Attractive $10,000 Sign-on Bonus, divided into two installments after training completion
Work schedule featuring a 3 days on / 6 days off rotation
Company-provided crew housing while on shift
We are seeking dedicated Air Ambulance Paramedics to deliver exceptional patient care following our protocols and medical guidelines. You will also support staffing needs by covering open shifts within your designated area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accurately complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight within required timelines, including daily base equipment checks and narcotic counts
Deliver comprehensive pre-hospital and intra-hospital advanced life support care until transfer of care to the designated medical facility, while maintaining detailed patient documentation
Enhance and sustain skill competency through ongoing participation in clinical and laboratory training
Document and maintain required licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety protocols, and advanced procedures in the Employee Education Manual
Utilize and oversee the maintenance of all necessary emergency equipment and supplies
Foster positive professional relationships with team members, EMS representatives, hospitals, and the general public
Serve as a vital medical flight team member
Attend and contribute to pre-mission briefings and debriefings and ensure all documentation is correctly completed
Assist with pre-flight checklists and provide pilot support as necessary
Adhere to safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for yourself, medical staff, patients, and equipment before takeoff
Conduct aircraft safety briefings as required
Perform additional related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience :
Minimum of three (3) years in an advanced life support or critical care environment required
Prior flight experience is preferred
Education :
Current EMT-P license / certification in your area is mandatory
AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications are mandatory before achieving flight status; trauma certification required within 6 months of hire
Advanced Certification (FP-C) is preferred, with a requirement to obtain within 12 months of hire
Instructor certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS / PEPP, ITLS / PHTLS are desirable
NREMT-P certification may be necessary in your area
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must be able to remove facial hair if needed for N95 mask fit
Possess necessary gross and fine motor skills for comprehensive patient care
Ability to lift / move up to 150 pounds with assistance
Specific vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Flexibility in work schedule is essential
