Competitive Annual Salary : $86,000-$89,000
Attractive $10,000 Sign-on Bonus, available in two installments after training

We are seeking dedicated Air Medical Paramedics to deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with GMR protocols and under medical direction. In this role, you will also provide coverage for open shifts as needed in your area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Complete and submit electronic patient care records for each flight in a timely manner, including daily base checks and narcotic counts.
Provide advanced life support care from the moment of contact until patient transfer to the receiving medical facility, ensuring thorough documentation of care.
Participate in ongoing training and clinical experiences to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Keep accurate records of licensure, certifications, continuing education, safety procedures, and advanced techniques as outlined in the Employee Education Manual.
Manage all equipment and supplies used during emergency operations competently and safely.
Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, EMS teams, hospitals, and the community.
Act as a crucial member of the medical flight crew.
Attend pre-flight briefings, debriefings, and complete necessary documentation.
Assist pilots with pre-flight checks, including navigational and safety-related tasks.
Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself, the medical team, patients, and equipment prior to takeoff.
Conduct aircraft safety briefings as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS : Experience :
At least three years of experience in an ALS or critical care setting is required.
Flight experience is highly preferred.
Education :
Current EMT-P license / certification in states you will serve is required.
AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications are necessary prior to flight status. Trauma certification must be obtained within six months of hire.
Advanced Certification (FP-C) preferred and must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
NREMT-P certification may be required based on assignment area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Willingness to shave facial hair if necessary to fit an N95 mask.
Must possess both gross and fine motor skills to provide a full range of patient care activities effectively and safely.
Ability to lift and / or move up to 150 pounds with assistance.
Vision requirements include the ability to see close and distant, peripheral vision, depth perception, and adjusting focus.
Flexibility to work various shifts is essential.
