Air Medical Pilot - PC12 Captain
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Air Medical Pilot to join our team as a PC12 Captain. As a key member of our crew, you will play a vital role in providing safe and efficient medical air transportation services to our patients.
Scheduled shifts run 2 weeks on/2 weeks off, with opportunities for day and night trips. Our team is committed to maintaining the highest safety standards, and we expect all pilots to share this commitment.
Requirements:
- Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) Required. Must be willing and able to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
- Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
- Valid and currently unexpired driver's license
- Total flight hours: 2,500
- Fixed wing hours: 2,000
- PIC hours: 1,000
- Cross country hours: 500
- Night hours: 100
- Instrument hours: 75 (50 actual)
Responsibilities:
- Pilot will collaborate with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities.
- Maintain aircraft readiness for flight dispatches, adhering to FAR and company requirements, and ensure aircraft cleanliness duties.
- Accurately record company and regulatory documentation and record keeping for shifts, load manifests, etc.
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with air and ground dispatch, flight crews, facilities, and partners.
- Provide shift change information to transitioning pilot and team, and follow protocols for recording company change board details.
- Maintain required certifications and ongoing ground and air training.
Working Conditions:
- Required to work in outside weather conditions.
- May need to deice the plane, assist with towing the aircraft, and maneuvering in and out of the hangar, preparing the plane for flight.
Physical Demands:
- Required to stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May assist with loading patients-lift and/or 70 lbs lift requirement.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
