Job Description:
At Guardian Flight, we are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Wing Pilot to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional pilot to provide medical air transportation services to our customers.
As a Fixed Wing Pilot, you will work with a team of medical experts to safely transport patients to and from locations and facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the aircraft's readiness for flight dispatches, following all FAR and company requirements. You will also maintain accurate company and regulatory documentation and record keeping.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate, a valid and currently unexpired FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate, and a valid driver's license. Additionally, you should have at least 2,500 total flight hours, 2,000 Fixed wing hours, 1,000 PIC hours, 500 cross country hours, 100 night hours, and 75 instrument (50 actual) hours.
The schedule for this position includes working 14/14 shifts, with two weeks on and two weeks off. You will be required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and assist with loading patients-lift and/or 70 lbs lift requirement. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary range of $113,959.50 - $125,346.45, a sign-on bonus of $15,000, and a retention bonus of $40,000 after a six-month wait period. We also provide relocation assistance of $3,000 and company-paid crew housing.
