About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work on a Pilatus PC12 aircraft, providing medical air transportation services to our customers. As an Aviation Medical Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of patients and medical staff, while adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations. You will work closely with a team of medical experts to provide high-quality patient care, and collaborate with dispatchers, flight crews, facilities, and partners to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess a Commercial Airplane Single Engine Land (C-ASEL) certificate, a current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate, and a valid driver's license. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 2,500 total flight hours, 2,000 fixed wing hours, 1,000 PIC hours, 500 cross-country hours, 100 night hours, and 75 instrument (50 actual) hours. You must also be willing to obtain ATP within 5 years of employment.
Working Conditions:
This role requires working in outside weather conditions, deicing planes, assisting with towing and maneuvering in and out of hangars, preparing planes for flight, and standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. You may also need to lift patients up to 70 pounds.
