Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional service and support. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience for all patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process patient check-in and/or checkout, following practice guidelines and best practices.
- Protect patient privacy by following HIPAA guidelines and medical practice standards.
- Assist customers with order placement, modifications, and cancellations.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of patient interactions within the practice's electronic medical records system.
- Field phone calls as well as maintain organized voicemail and return calls.
Experience
- Previous experience in a call center/office or customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information clearly and concisely.
- Experience with cash handling is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
