What will you do as a Unit Manager
- Frequent rounds to monitor resident/patient conditions and to ensure nursing personnel are performing their work assignments in accordance with acceptable nursing standards. Based on rounds and resident conditions, you'll request RN assessments as needed
- Manage infection control and ensuring that our employees understand the importance of compliance with proper procedures and protocols for the health and safety of our elderly residents
- Communicate with physicians to keep them informed of resident conditions and to coordinate appointments both in the facility and off-site
- Evaluate the daily staffing needs and assignments and make suggestions if needed
- Ensure that all reports and forms are completed as required, and participate in care plan meetings as requested
What you need as a Unit Manager
- Licensed as an RN
- Previous Long-term care experience preferred
- Previous management experience preferred
