Guardian Healthcare is a certified nursing agency which focuses on care planning, healing, nursing back to health, building strength and optimal quality of life within the comfort of patients’ homes.
Guardian Healthcare was co-founded by husband-and-wife team Jose and Zoraida de la Rosa in 2008. Zoraida, a Spanish-speaking nurse, was often the only nurse able to provide care in her patient’s preferred language. Guardian Healthcare was formed with the goal to close this cultural competency gap. Under the de la Rosas’ vision, leadership, and expertise, Guardian Healthcare has expanded to cover the Boston, Salem, Lawrence, Brockton, Fall River and Worcester areas. Our nurses, therapists, and home health aides provide healthcare services in a variety of languages to ensure excellent service, care, and comfort for all patients.
Location: As close to your home as possible. We have opportunities for nurses in many towns.
Hours: We are flexible with the hours that our nurses want to work.
Please note: Pay is calculated per visit with higher pay rates for OASIS (start of care).
While the base rate is $40, the actual pay according to type of visit is:
Medication Management: $33.60
SN Visit: $40
Evaluation, Recertification, ReEval: $60
Wound Care/IV Therapy: $50

Position Summary:
- In-home ongoing quality care.
- Skilled Nursing: Nurses help clients achieve wellness and autonomy through advocacy, assessment, planning, communication, education, resource management, service facilitation, and use of evidence-based guidelines or standards which result in holistic and well measured care.
- Case notes are important.
- Nurses provide emotional support, reassurance and encouragement to patients.
