Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and assessments of patients.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including performing procedures in general dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.
- Experience in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge is essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages.
