Job Summary

Duties
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments.

- Assist with basic medical procedures, including suturing and airway management.
- Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infections during procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and medication administration.
- Adhere to established standards of care and best practices within the healthcare setting.
- Participate in training programs within a teaching hospital environment to enhance skills and knowledge.
Skills
- Proficient in medical record management systems such as Cerner.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy.
- Experience in emergency room (ER) settings is preferred but not required.
- Ability to apply aseptic techniques effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established protocols and standards.
