Job Summary:
As the Community Liaison with Guardian Home Care of NH, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our growth and community engagement efforts. This role is responsible for building and nurturing relationships within the community to expand awareness of Guardian Home Care and connect families to essential home care services. The Community Liaison will actively engage with underserved populations, educate the public about the NH Choices for Independence (CFI) Medicaid program, and promote the benefits of working with Guardian Home Care of NH especially for family caregivers seeking better support and compensation. Working under the guidance of the Business Development Director, this role will serve as the “boots on the ground,” for Guardian Home Care of NH representing our mission, values, and services in a variety of local settings and events across Southern New Hampshire.
This is an ideal role for someone bilingual, passionate about community empowerment, and excited to help more families access home care benefits with a trusted provider like Guardian.
Educational/Professional Experience and Knowledge and Abilities:
- High School Diploma
- Experience in sales, marketing, outreach, or community engagement (preferred in healthcare or social services)
- Strong public speaking and communication skills to work with community leaders & partners, NGOs, cultural groups and other referral sources.
- Being bilingual is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite/Teams
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities:
Marketing and Community Outreach
- Develop and maintain strong ties with community leaders, nonprofit organizations, churches, cultural groups, local businesses, and referral sources.
- Conduct an outreach to underserved communities to increase awareness of the Medicaid CFI program, including how to qualify.
- Host or attend informational sessions, cultural events, town meetings, and local fairs to promote services offered by Guardian Home Care of NH.
- Act as a trusted point of contact between Guardian Home Care of NH and the broader community.
- Representing Guardian Home Care of NH at community events, roundtables, and meetings. Be the "boots on the ground" spreading our name and mission.
- Work closely with the Business Development and Office Director to expand and innovate outreach efforts
- Work closely with the Admissions & Marketing Coordinator to ensure a seamless transition from outreach to intake, supporting client onboarding, attending events and strengthening community partnerships.
- Identify new referral opportunities and cultivate relationships in the community.
- Provide feedback to the Business Development team on community needs, gaps in service, and marketing opportunities.
- Share updates, success stories, and leads with the Business Development team to help drive growth and community trust.
Caregiver Recruitment & Advocacy:
- Educate families about the benefits of being paid to care for their loved ones through the CFI program.
- Encourage caregivers to consider Guardian Home Care as their employer of choice by highlighting our supportive culture, competitive compensation, and bilingual training resources.
