Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities tailored to their abilities and preferences.
- Monitor and document changes in clients’ behavior or condition and communicate updates promptly.
- Provide companionship, creating a supportive and understanding environment.
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as needed.
- Uphold safety standards and implement best practices in dementia care.
Qualifications:
- Experience providing care to individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s.
- Certification in dementia care or willingness to complete training.
- Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.
- CPR certification (current or willing to obtain).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
