Guardian Glass is looking for a Distribution Planner to join our team in Auburn Hills, MI or Richburg, SC!
In this role you will maintain a stable flow of inventory into the Richburg offsite warehouse in support of key national accounts. In addition, you will maintain appropriate levels of inventory and safety stock to prevent stock-outs while minimizing the amount of working capital committed to finished goods inventories.

What You Will Do
- Plan finished good replenishment between source plant and Richburg offsite warehouse based on signals from Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), input from operations and feedback from supply plants
- Partner with KBX Logistics to ensure timely delivery of shipments
- Expedite shipments as needed to prevent stock-outs to maintain a high customer service level
- Collaborate with Operations, Production Planning and Logistics to address issues and maintain high levels of customer service
- Identify opportunities for improvement
- Supply Planning or Logistics Planning experience
- Experience collaborating across teams
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs and present information graphically)
- Glass manufacturing experience
- APICS certification
