Your Job
Guardian Glass is looking for a Process Engineer to join our team in Richburg, SC!
You will join the existing Process Engineering team to provide technical support for the production lines. You will have various responsibilities for a 24/7 float glass facility and will be responsible for creating value through process improvement with a clear focus on safety, quality and production.

What You Will Do
- Evaluate and optimize production equipment for improved production efficiency
- Optimize production schedules for more efficient labor utilization and yield
- Develop process and control parameters for operational control and improvement
- Lead and monitor continuous improvement projects
- Improve and upgrade standard operating procedures
- Work with Reliability and Engineering to install and maintain production equipment
- Troubleshoot problems that occur during the manufacturing process
- Lead complex projects in a team-based environment
- Support the Operations team in a 24/7 environment
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Engineering experience OR process improvement experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience troubleshooting and identifying root cause corrective action
What Will Put You Ahead
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Project management experience
- Experience with automation, electrical, or PLCs
- Materials and heat transfer knowledge
