The Role
The Education Centre Operations Manager is a key role within the Education and Engagement (E&E) team. The post holder will work in a co-management model with the Education Centre Programme Manager to lead the Education Centre and sit on the Senior Management Team for the E&E department.

The Role
The Education Centre Operations Manager is a key role within the Education and Engagement (E&E) team. The post holder will work in a co-management model with the Education Centre Programme Manager to lead the Education Centre and sit on the Senior Management Team for the E&E department.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
- Daily Operations: Manage all aspects of the operation of the Parliamentary Education Centre, including overseeing the logistics for the daily programme of school visits; development and implementation of appropriate operational plans, ensuring Duty Management cover of the Centre at all times.
- Excellent Customer Service: Providing, and leading staff in providing consistently excellent customer service to all visitors to the Centre, including teachers, schools and Members of Parliament.
- Stakeholder Management: Being the Centre's first port of call and go-to person for any queries or issues that arise; independently managing enquiries, comments and complaints from visitors and other stakeholders; troubleshooting and resolving issues in real time.
- Health and Safety: Act as the Education Centre's Health & Safety Co-ordinator; reviewing the department's Safe Systems of Work every 6 months and working to ensure consistent procedural compliance across the wider service.
