In this role, you will support Group Benefits Sales Insights team by playing a crucial role in areas such as business and sales analytics, strategic initiatives, and driving analytical insights. Your work will play a crucial part in ensuring the Group Benefits Distribution team makes sound financial and strategic decisions that drive sustainable business growth. You’ll get leadership exposure as you focus on the high priority business initiative across various business partners.
You will
- Conduct advanced business analysis by delivering impactful and actionable insights that drive decision-making. This includes developing and maintaining KPI dashboards, routinely analyzing and synthesizing data for the sales leadership team with recommended actions.
- Bring innovative ways to analyze complex data and present insights in simple and compelling ways to non-finance audiences.
- Design, develop, and maintain analytical solutions including dashboards and reporting systems via Alteryx, Microsoft Office Suite, and Tableau.
- Refine and standardize existing data and processes to improve sales reporting optimization and ensure that our data and processes effectively support our business partner’s needs.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customized analytical & business solutions.
- Support initiatives for teams under the Head of Field Sales, Head of Commercial Strategy & Operations and Head of FP&A as needed.
- Collaborate with Field Sales team to provide insights and analysis across the sales organization to help drive sales growth.
- Support National Market leaders for Key markets by assisting in the evaluation of emerging and high-growth partners such as PEOs, technology platforms and digital aggregators.
- Provide support to the Head of GA and Broker Strategy by defining and reporting on KPI metrics for our GA and National Partners.
- Work in partnership with the Go to Market strategy team on micro segmentation efforts in order to accelerate revenue growth and opportunity.
You have
- 3 years of progressive finance and/or sales analytics experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or related professional experience.
- Insurance or financial services experience is a plus.
- Understanding of sales processes and strategies
- The ability to think critically, analyze, prioritize, take initiative, and problem solve.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Alteryx, and Tableau software is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills who can synthesize large data sets into actionable insights for the business.
- Proven ability to complete high quality work efficiently and increase autonomy over time.
- Familiarity with predictive forecasting techniques and scenario modeling
- Build strong positive relationships with business stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Location
This is a flexible position requiring 3 days per week in the office, with preference given to candidates within commuting proximity to a Guardian office.

Salary Range:
$80,940.00 - $132,975.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
