Our Program
As part of our Enterprise Business Technology and Shared Services Team at Guardian, you will have the opportunity to learn from and network with professionals across the company. Our LEAP Program (Learn, Engage, Apply, Perform) will help you to build your professional toolkit as you gain industry and organizational knowledge through three 12-month rotational assignments. Through your experience with us you will be able to make meaningful contributions to initiatives that directly impact our business and the communities we serve while also gaining hands on leadership experience.
Program Perks
- Rotations: You will have opportunities to rotate through various teams in the Technology organization gaining exposure to multiple domains; Application Development, Data, Cloud, Security and UI/UX Design.
- Mentors: You will be assigned a mentor to help build relationships across the company and navigate work experiences.
- Lunch with Leaders Speaker Series: Leaders from various business and functional areas host Lunch & Learns for associates, discussing everything from personal career experiences to important business initiatives and essential skills and competencies needed to excel in their organizations.
- Focused Curriculum for Learning & Development: Associates are assigned a curriculum of courses, as well as individual and group activities to help develop leadership, business, and technical skills.
- Collaboration Project: The collaboration project is a full-term venture that will span the duration of the Technology Associates’ program tenure. Technology Associates will collaborate on building a working prototype that is production ready for a problem of their choice. It is an opportunity to learn necessary skills for future success through designing and building a system from the ground-up. They will have opportunities to present to leadership.

You have:
- A bachelor’s degree with a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) focus, obtained within the last 12 months or; or a relevant certificate, currently in your final year of obtaining a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college / university; coursework to obtain degree must be completed prior to start of employment
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future
- Proven analytical skills
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Exceptional software programming and/or scripting skills
- The drive to deliver on commitments and an openness to new ideas
- Strong and effective communication (both written and verbal)
Location:
- Bethlehem, Holmdel, or New York with work from home flexibility
- Up to 10% travel within US
