Guardian Litigation Group, a national consumer law firm specializing in Debtor rights, Bankruptcy, and Consumer Protection, is looking to hire an Associate Attorney based in California to our firm. Our firm has a stellar reputation for being creative and thinking outside the box to generate results for the diverse clients we represent. We are dedicated to providing both our clients and our employees with the resources they need to succeed. This is a hybrid position so being able to commute to our office is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist with case management and organization
- Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal teams to develop case strategies
- Review and analyze legal documents and contracts
- Conduct factual investigations to gather evidence for cases
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal precedent
To be considered for Associate Attorney, you should:
- Have successfully completed law school, passed the state bar exam, and have a completed Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school
- Be an active member of the American Bar Association (ABA)
- 2 years of relevant experience
- Be licensed to practice law in California
- Possess phenomenal communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills required to efficiently work with clients, other attorneys, case managers, and other support staff
- Prior experience in civil litigation is a huge plus
