Guardian Management has an opportunity for a Part-Time Dishwasher to join our experienced and committed team at Discovery Point!
Discovery Point is a 183-unit Senior Independent Living Community in Mesa, AZ. Services include dining, recreational activities, housekeeping, maintenance, and transportation.
Position Description:
The general purpose of this job is to attend to all dishwashing duties including: washing, drying, and storing all dishes, glasses, and utensils used in the meal service. This person is responsible for assisting with kitchen clean up after meals and may be required to perform certain dining room duties depending on the facility.
Compensation: $15-16/hr Benefits!
Benefits: Employer-matched 401-K, Sick Time, Paid Holidays, Employee Assistance Program.
Schedule: 25 hours / week, Monday - Friday 3:30PM - 8:00PM, flexible schedule.
Qualification Requirements:

- Must have an active food handlers card.
- Must be legally qualified to work in the US.
- Must be able to speak, read and write English in a manner sufficient to carry out the duties..
Essential Functions:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Washes, dries, and stores dishes, glasses, and utensils.
- Cleans dish washing area after use.
- Assists with cleaning kitchen after meals, including but not limited to pots and pans, all surfaces, and floor.
- Performs special kitchen cleaning tasks according to schedule.
- May bus dining room tables (depending on facility staffing).
- May clean dining room tables and chairs (depending on facility staffing).
- May vacuum dining room after meals (depending on facility staffing).
- May set tables for next meal (depending on facility staffing).
- Performs other duties as assigned by Facility Executive Chef.
- Serves as role model for other employees by displaying responsible, cooperative, positive attitude.
- Maintains food handlers permit as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
- Maintains CPR and first aid certification as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
- Attends education and training classes, including as necessary to fulfill state or provincial regulations.
