Job Title: Pest Technician
Classification: Non-Exempt
Department: Operations
Reports To: Regional Manager
Job Summary:
Provide pest management services to various commercial and residential clients as well as sell pest management services, vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance and administrative duties. Communicate daily with the Regional Support Specialist and your Regional Manager to provide exemplary and quality services to help protect businesses, homes, and the surrounding environment from unwanted pests.
Skills and Attributes:
- Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record.
- Ability to travel.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Ability to acquire and maintain all necessary licenses, background checks and drug screenings.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to apply pesticides chemicals in accordance with established regulations and to read, understand and follow chemical label instructions
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations to estimate materials and time needed to complete task
- Strong ability to keep good records of hours worked, chemicals used through provided technology
- Must be trustworthy as duties are mostly discharged without the physical presence management
- The ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand for up to 8-hours a day.
- Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience preferred.'
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
