Job Title: Thermal Remediation Specialist
Classification: Non-Exempt/Hourly

Reports To: Thermal Remediation Manager
Job Summary:
Provide pest management services and sell pest management services to various commercial and residential clients. Specialize in the elimination and prevention of bed bugs using Thermal Remediation techniques. In this position, you will help protect businesses, homes, and the surrounding environment from unwanted pests.
Duties and Responsibilities - Service
_____ Working directly with the public
_____ Use of email, company software, contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise)
_____ Communicating effectively with Clients, Pest Management Service Technicians, Managers, and Office Staff
_____ Use thermal remediation to eliminate bed bugs withing residential and commercial accounts
_____ Stay current on the new products/chemicals/trends/services etc.
_____ Conflict resolution
_____ Maintain a clean and organized vehicle
_____ Acquiring and maintaining all necessary licenses
_____ Possess an up to date Department of Transportation Health Card
_____ Documenting and recording information/knowing all Guardian approved forms
_____ Organizing, planning and prioritizing work activities
_____ Inspect and maintain all Thermal Remediation equipment
_____ Evaluating information to determine compliance of standards
_____ Adhering to safety and Department of Transportation procedures
_____ Modifying work procedures or processes to meet deadlines
_____ Performs other related duties as assigned by direct supervisor or upper management for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
Vehicle/Equipment Maintenance
_____ Clean truck of debris weekly, wash a minimum of 2 car washes per month, change oil.
_____ Check oil every other fuel up, check fluids/tire pressure, lights /turn signals monthly.
_____ Clean equipment daily: trailer lights/tire pressure.
_____ At the end of the day: lock truck, charge handheld/printer/handsfree earpiece, and bring in all electronic equipment.
Administrative
_____ Send completed check request for reimbursement to Human Resources.
_____ Attend bi monthly end of month meetings
_____ Input any time off request into payroll app as needed and in a timely manner.
_____ Punch in and out on payroll app on daily basis.
_____ Complete any paperwork, training/sign off sheets, service sheets and benefits in a timely manner.
_____ Attend and actively participate in required meetings and trainings.
Skills and Attributes:
· Extensive knowledge of all aspects of vehicle and equipment repair.
· Excellent mechanical repair skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to visually diagnose mechanical issues.
· Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.
· Ability to read service and repair manuals.
· Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.
· Ability to read work orders.
· Excellent Driving Record.
· Ability to lift approximately 100 lbs. on a regular basis.
· Ability to stand for up to 8-hours a day.
· Ability to acquire and maintain all necessary licenses, background checks and drug screenings.
· Must be able to acquire and maintain all necessary licenses required to do the job.
· Must be able to inspect vehicle, diagnose mechanical issues and determine repairs needed.
· Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
· A proficient knowledge of bed bugs and the pest control industry

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of related experience preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
