About the Role:
Guardian Residential Services Llc is seeking a motivated and experienced DSP Team Lead to join our team in Triangle, VA. As a DSP Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing support and guidance to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards
- Assist with training and onboarding of new DSPs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals with disabilities, their families, and other team members
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Knowledge of person-centered planning and behavioral support techniques
