What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fire Sales Rep position at Guardian Security Systems?
Position Summary:
Pay:
- $48,000 base salary commission
- Top Sales Professionals earn $130,000 annually!
Work Setting:
- M-F, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm.
- Appointment times may vary based on customer leads and availability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works with electrical contractors on bidding systems for new construction as well as bidding systems for existing structures.
- Works with jurisdictional agencies to ensure safety codes are met on company jobs.
- Works with other sales departments to secure integrated fire, security, and access control clients.
- Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- College education and/or equivalent experience with designing electrical systems preferred
- Two to five years outside sales experience required.
- Experience in access control and integrated security systems sales preferred.
- Experience working with contractors on bidding jobs required and with jurisdictional agencies on meeting code requirements preferred.
- One or more years sales and account management experience with large accounts preferred.
- Experience in team selling and working in interdisciplinary teams desirable.

Education and/or Experience:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to noise level from low to mid-range due to others speaking on phones. This position will require multiple daily site visits when travelling to projects or clients.
