Guardian Therapeutic Center-(GTC) is urgently seeking a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialist to work in our (PRP) Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program. We are looking for a licensed mental health professional to join our team and provide clinical oversight to a community based behavioral health program.

Requirements:
· Is a licensed mental health professional with a minimum of 2 years direct care work experience in the field
· Maryland Licensure Required as LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-C, LGPC, LCPC, LCADC, LGADC, or CDNP-PMH
· For PRP-A, must have clinical knowledge of adults with co-occurring disorders and complex behavioral health issues
· Available to be on-site for a minimum of 40 hours each week ( full-time)
· Ability to utilize a computer, specifically including basic word processing skills, internet skills and email use
· Must have up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination, including booster shots
Job Summary:
· The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program is under the direct supervision of the Rehabilitation Specialist
· Responsible for developing the Individual Rehabilitation Plan (IRP) following the timeframe set forth in COMAR
· Oversees the clinical side of the program to facilitate an individual’s recovery
· Developing and assuring that rehabilitation services meet the needs of the individuals served by the program
· Conduct on-going assessments of Therapeutic Support Specialist’s performances
Responsible for the discharge recommendation and summaries of clients, when necessary
· Meet with CEO and/or COO weekly to present updates, discuss staff concerns, program concerns, and regulatory concerns
· Participate in agency recommended trainings
· Participate in monthly supervision meetings with Psychiatric Rehabilitation Coordinators
· Reinforce COMAR and Joint Commission regulations
· All paperwork/weekly reports are due every Friday by 6:00 pm to the COO
Conduct and complete intakes and assessments
· Obtain authorization for PRP services
· Initial contact is made within 48 hours of email notification.
· Scheduling intakes should be reflected on the agency calendar
· Document unsuccessful attempts on a contact note and list them in the weekly report
· Reauthorizations should be completed 30 days before expiration of authorization
Completion and maintenance of IRP (every 90 days)
· Initial IRP completed at time of assessment
· Initial IRP discussed during supervision with advocate, parent/guardian, and client
· Educate Therapeutic Support Specialists (Direct Care Workers) on how to provide proper rehabilitation services that correlate with goals identified in the client’s IRP
· 90 day review plans should include advocate, parent/guardian, and client
· Completed 90 day plans should be listed on the weekly report.
