Pay: $22-$28/hr.

Schedule: 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM

Job Overview

The Soft Pak Technician is a key member of the production team, responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the soft pack wipe manufacturing line. This role involves machine operation, quality control, basic maintenance, and collaboration with team members to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize CAM/CAD programming for efficient machine operation.
• Operate and monitor the soft pack line machinery to maintain optimal production and product quality.
• Collaborate with the shift leader and production team to optimize line efficiency and resolve issues.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform minor troubleshooting and maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Ensure raw materials are handled and supplied correctly to the production line.
• Complete and maintain accurate production paperwork and records.
• Adhere strictly to quality control standards and safety procedures.
• Keep detailed logs of machine settings, production data, and any operational incidents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; prepare the work area for the next shift.
• Gain a deep understanding of equipment operations, enabling resolution of 95% of line issues independently.
• Cross-train other team members and assist in training new hires as directed by the Operations Manager.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity and physical stamina for hands-on machine operation.
