Security Route Driver (FT Overnight)
The Security Router Driver has all the same responsibilities as a Security Officer, plus this position requires the Router Driver to visit different sites to ensure that buildings / gates / entries / etc have no signs of theft, damage or other security concerns.

- Pay Rate : Starting at $15.00
- MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OLD (Insurance purposes)
- HAVE TXDL FOR 3 YEARS, AND NO "AT FAULT" ACCIDENTS OR TICKETS IN THE PAST 3 YEARS (Insurance purposes)
SECURITY QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :
Leadership experienceMilitary supervisory experience, previous contract security, facilities management, or law enforcement a plusHave a current security registration and maintain all licensing requirements for Non-Commissioned Security Officers, including passing a Criminal Background Check as required by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Bureau (PSB)Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively in English, orally and in writingCustomer service orientation, personable and friendlyAbility to remain calm under pressure and handle crisis situationsCritical thinking and sound judgmentHearing ability and visual acuity to observe and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources. Requires driving at nightAbility to perform general physical activities that require considerable use of arms, legs, and / or moving the entire body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, sitting, standing for long periods of time, and handling of materialsPerform Security Officer duties as needed :
Provide a visual security presenceConduct regular rounds of industrial, commercial or residential premises to deter and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gatesPerform checks on windows, doors, gates, stairwells, fire exits, mechanical rooms and other areas as assigned by client, or that a trespasser may use to gain illegal access, and insure that they are properly secureInspect equipment if required to ascertain that tampering has not occurred and / or is in working order as noted in the post ordersWrite reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences including standing water or fire hazards, failure indicators on mechanical or electrical equipment, and temperature controlsRespond to alarms and report disturbancesContact police, paramedics or fire departments in cases of emergencyContact Property Manager as appropriate per customer protocolsInform persons of rule infractions or violations such as loitering, smoking, carrying forbidden articlesAssist in evacuation of buildings in case of emergencyControl crowds as required by job siteOther duties as assigned by supervisor or required by contract with customer based on their individual security needsJoin GuardTexas!
