Guddge is looking for a Technical Writer – Data Governance to develop clear, concise, and structured documentation for data governance frameworks, policies, and tools. The ideal candidate will collaborate with data governance, data management, and IT teams to create user-friendly materials that support data stewardship, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain documentation related to data governance policies, standards, and best practices.
- Create user guides, training materials, FAQs, and reference documentation for data governance tools like Collibra, Informatica, or Data Zone.
- Document data lineage, metadata management processes, and data stewardship workflows.
- Translate complex data governance concepts into accessible content for business and technical audiences.
- Work with data governance professionals, data stewards, and IT teams to gather and refine documentation requirements.
- Ensure consistency, clarity, and accuracy in all technical documentation.
- Maintain documentation repositories and version control for easy updates and accessibility.
- Assist in developing compliance-related documentation to support regulatory frameworks (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Data Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience in technical writing, preferably in data governance, data management, or data analytics.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks, metadata management, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to simplify complex data governance concepts for different audiences.
- Strong organizational, editing, and communication skills.
Salary : $40 - $45
