Take your quality leadership skills to the next level with Guerdon, LLC — the premier name in modular construction! We’re looking for a hands-on Quality Assurance Manager ready to drive excellence, lead a high-performing team, and make a direct impact on our projects and products.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the Quality Assurance team through construction and inspection phases with a deep understanding of design requirements, specifications, and construction standards.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Owners, General Contractors, and Third-Party Inspectors to keep projects on track and compliant.
- Manage all compliance documentation — including QA manuals, state certifications, insignias, and reporting.
- Champion Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across modular manufacturing processes.
- Organize inspection comments, resolve discrepancies, and work with Design and Manufacturing teams to close out issues before module completion.
- Drive proactive quality initiatives to eliminate recurring problems and ensure first-time success.
- Develop training programs that empower our construction teams to meet the highest standards.
- Set clear, achievable cosmetic finish standards — and make sure we hit them consistently, project after project.
- Participate in field reviews and service reports to catch and correct issues at the source.
- Validate quality, code compliance, and track revisions and changes for full project accountability.
Qualifications
- Deep understanding of construction assemblies, industry best practices, and building code requirements, with the ability to apply this knowledge to real-world projects.
- ICC/IBC Building Inspection Certification preferred — a plus that helps you hit the ground running!
- Exceptional communication and client interface skills — you know how to build trust and deliver confidence to customers, inspectors, and project teams.
- Natural leadership abilities — you lead by example, setting the tone for quality, safety, and collaboration on every job site.
- Proficient in commercial and residential construction practices, with a strong grasp of a wide range of structural types and modular building techniques.
- Highly organized and comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
- Committed to maintaining the highest safety standards, with strict adherence to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Physically capable of performing hands-on tasks and inspections as needed across the production line and job sites.
- Flexible availability, with the ability to work varying hours depending on project needs and deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
