Position Overview
Guerdon LLC is looking for an Inventory Control Associate to play a key role in managing and maintaining inventory in a fast-paced factory production environment. The ideal candidate will have , strong organizational skills, and excellent attention to detail. This position is a vital part of our Inventory Control Team, ensuring that materials are properly tracked, stocked, and distributed to support efficient production.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately enter inventory data, including stock levels, received materials, and restocked items.
- Conduct physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliations to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Process material requests to ensure production has the necessary supplies in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize the NetSuite system for inventory tracking, barcode scanning, and label printing.
- Monitor shelf life and enforce FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory management practices.
- Assist with restocking inventory and assembling kits for production as needed.
- Participate in team-driven process improvement projects.
- Manage time-sensitive tasks while meeting strict deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following established processes and procedures.
- Apply Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles to optimize efficiency.
- Familiarity with commercial or residential construction products is a plus.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (NetSuite experience preferred).
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or 5S principles is a plus.
- Experience in commercial or residential construction is preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-oriented mindset with a professional and positive attitude.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and proactive in problem-solving and task management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Experience with Quantum software is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodologies is preferred.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- On-site position—remote work is not available.
