Position Overview
Guerdon LLC is seeking a talented Structural Drafter. In this position you will be responsible for structural framing aspects of all assigned project(s), including the recommendation of structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction documents for conformance with project and factory standards.
- Coordinate with Guerdon team at all project phases and disciplines.
- Generate BIM framing models for floor/ceiling and/or walls.
- Coordinate with other drafting disciplines for model clash detection.
- Generate fabrication drawings for in-house factory construction.
- Monitor progress of manufacturing in conformance with fabrication drawings and collaborate with manufacturing on all inquiries.
- Complete all additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications & Requirements
Associates degree/diploma in drafting preferred, or 5 years of related work experience.
Required Skills:
- Associates degree/diploma in drafting preferred
- 5 years of related work experience in lieu of education
- Experience with Modeling software (BIM, Revit, etc)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- On-site position—remote work is not available.
