This job was posted by : For more information, please see : DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES : \ Support project teams in the delivery of consulting expertise, primarily in the field of public-private partnerships (PPP); Clients primarily consist of federal defense services and state universities and typical PPP transactions may include privatization, capital leasing, franchise / concession or services outsourcing\ We work on the sell-side of transactions, providing strategic planning and detailed analysis to Clients who do not possess the resources necessary to fully protect their interests; this position requires the capability to team with our Clients to deeply understand their business, and then to use that understanding to critically evaluate alternatives to the Clients current operations\ Typical engagements involve provision of technical and economic expertise; the Consultant must demonstrate strength in technical assessment or economic analysis, and we would highly value an individual with demonstrated capabilities in both practice areas\ Support is needed for the following functions (listed in no particular order) : \ Engineering / technical assessments\ Utility operation and maintenance practices\ Utility construction management\ Utility maintenance and construction cost estimation\ Life-cycle cost analysis, cost / benefit analysis, economic modeling\ Evaluation of PPP transaction proposals from technical and price perspectivesPOSITION QUALIFICATIONS : \ Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a relevant professional field\ Degree in Engineering field preferred, but not required\ Ability to record and organize meticulous notes and documentation\ Writing and communication skills are critical to our business practice\ Must function well in a team environment and occasionally tight deadlines\ Travel required to client locations throughout the 50 states; must commit to the potential for an average of 1 week of travel per month, with some months possibly requiring in excess of 1 week of travel away from the OKC area\ Familiarity with government contracting (either federal, state or municipal) is desirable\ Familiarity with Tinker Air Force Base desirableEssential Physical Functions : Stand or sit must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Walk this position requires the ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. 25% of the time. Full range of motion to walk, stoop and stand while working on worksites 25% of the time. Use hands / fingers must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer 50% of the time. Talk This position frequently communicates with internal and external customers, must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations 25% of the time. Vision must be able to clearly focus on information located on a computer screen, paperwork, etc. 50% of the time. Lift / Carry must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs. of site equipment when necessary.
