What are the responsibilities and job description for the Screen Printer position at Guerrilla Graphix?
Thank you for your interest in working as a Screen Printer with Guerrilla Graphix. This is a full time position that requires a high level of attention to detail. You must be able to think on your feet, multitask and be able to work in a fast paced environment. You must be highly motivated and adaptable. You will be a part of a team and must be able to communicate as often as possible and keep everyone on the same page.
As a key part of production, Screen printers will be responsible for reclaiming used screens, coating and burning new screens. Setting up and tearing down jobs on an automatic and a manual screen printing press, cleaning work stations and preparing supplies for you and your team. You will be responsible for production of multiple print jobs each day to keep up with company and customer needs. Production will include high-quality, multiple color orders on various garments and textiles. You will need to be able to update and navigate through job tracking software and have basic understanding with the Adobe creative suite. You should be familiar with various fabrics, garments, and screen printing inks and have the ability to mix custom colors.
At Guerrilla Graphix, we value efficiency, quality, and safety. This is a production position and will require you to lift heavy objects from time to time and you will be expected to be on your feet for long periods. This position does work closely with cleaning chemicals and you will be required to follow safety procedures and guidelines throughout the work day.
