POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for managing and coordinating the support services staff that includes dietary, housekeeping, front desk and drivers. This will also include the coordination of support services to assist the client services coordinator, clinical and nursing departments.

POSITION REPONSIBILITES:

Dietary - in conjunction with lead cook, assure the correct ordering of food quantities, proper food storage, food labeling (dating), food temperature in compliance the health department regulations. Also ensure that clients receive nutritious meals, menus are followed, and we have proper dietary staffing. Must coordinate meals for departure luncheons and campus visitors. Scheduling and payroll for all dietary staff members.

Housekeeping – in conjunction with the housekeeping staff responsibilities include day-to-day cleanliness of client rooms, chapels, offices, kitchen, dining rooms and general use areas located in the following buildings; North Treatment Center, South Treatment Center, Walkway, Management Services Office (MSO), Scripps Mansion and Villas. Responsible for purchasing and maintaining proper levels of supplies, equipment and other materials necessary for efficient operation of the housekeeping department and for determining that departmental deliveries are consistent with stated purchase requirement including quality and quantity. Conduct quarterly inventory of housekeeping supplies. Responsible for documented housekeeping walkthroughs. This documentation is then forwarded to the Operations Director. Scheduling and payroll for all housekeeping staff members.

Front Desk – ensure completion of front desk coordinator duties including, but not limited to, the completion and distribution of the daily activity schedule, client roster, scheduling of all drivers, and assisting the Clinical Director as needed.

Drivers – ensure that all transportation needs are met and vehicle maintenance is documented and maintained.

Responsible for training, discipline, evaluations and merit increase recommendations for support services staff members.

Responsible for gathering documentation (invoice/packing slips) for support services invoices and completion of monthly expense report. Maintain such cost-containment procedures as are necessary to comply with operating and capital budgets.

Responsible for preparing a monthly report for the Operations Director on any support services issues for presentation and review at the monthly leadership meeting.

Must work closely with the Client Services Coordinator surrounding admissions, discharges, client activities, transportation, room assignments.

On occasion must be available after regular work hours and weekends for any issues that may arise within the support services departments listed above.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum four (4) years of supervisory and customer service experience. Knowledge of applications in support services operations and procedures required. Above average writing and verbal skills. Ability to supervise and work cooperatively with others. Experience in the hospitality or healthcare industry a plus.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
