Boating is Fun Camp at Natick Boathouse, managed by Guest Services, Inc., is now hiring part-time Junior Camp Counselors for the 2025 summer season. Camp runs for 9 weeks from June through August and counselors are expected to work in our weekday camp. Job Description : JOB SUMMARY
To provide supervision of the water to ensure safe boating operations. Teach beginning and intermediate boating skills to campers and junior staff.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Teach beginning and intermediate boating skills
- Leading games and activities
- Leading / teaching groups children
- Supervising of children ages 8 - 13
- Supervision of on-the-water activities
- Ability to swim, kayak, and sail
- Working weekday hours. Weekend hours might also be required
- Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

PHYSICAL WORK REQUIREMENTS
The work required is moderately physically demanding and requires a medium level of physical fitness. You will be required to do the following : Standing, Lifting, Kayaking, Sailing, Canoeing, Swimming, Kneeling, Twisting, and Squatting.
