At Guest Services, Inc., we're seeking a highly motivated and skilled Barista to join our team at one of our locations. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy interacting with customers, working in a fast-paced environment, and maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and making menu recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders, ring up sales on the register/POS system, and process payments efficiently and accurately.
- Pull espresso shots, steam milk, and mix coffee beverages to ensure consistency and quality.
- Maintain store displays through daily stock rotation, cleaning, and organizing to create an inviting atmosphere for guests.
Requirements:
- Partial High School education; High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of or ability to learn to create specialty coffees and other drinks, with previous barista experience an asset.
- Strong sanitation habits and attention to detail are essential for this role.
Working Conditions:
This position requires standing for entire shifts, lifting up to 10 lbs regularly, and occasional use of physical strength to move merchandise and equipment. Our team members must be able to work in a constantly changing environment and maintain a positive attitude towards providing excellent guest service.
